Psychologists
from the UK and Germany have called the best way to long-term storage
of information that does not require much effort from the people using
it. The results of their research published authors in the journal Hippokampus, and brief them can be found at New Scientist.
According to experts, long-term memory recently received enough information to make a break of about ten minutes. During this period of time can not be distracted by other sources of information, such as watching TV or communicate in social networks.
Storing the information in this case is enhanced, and this effect is evident even in patients with symptoms of amnesia. According to psychologists, this can mean that even people who have memory problems, is not completely lost the ability to reproduce information already received (they preserved the memories).
In their studies, the scientists left the people in a quiet empty room, lit by dim light, without mobile phones. After the experiments, psychologists asked participants to reproduce information already received. It turned out that people rested even after a week recalled 10 percent more than the others.
