U.S. scientist has developed a new type of battery

Scientists have been able to achieve one of the records of the legendary Nikola Tesla. If the development will successfully pass the test, the new batteries will work 200 times longer than any known today. The main feature of the new battery is the active ingredient - algae.It is interesting to note that they use all the same modern lithium-ion technology, which is used in the development of most batteries today. However, thanks to the special structure of the filaments of algae can be accelerated charge such batteries, which can last only 11 seconds.
At this moment is able to develop the experiment, however, already in vitro were surprising results achieved. Earlier, a series of tests which showed that algae can store a charge for a long time, but there were doubts about the maximum power.Adam Freeman, who is the author of a new idea, says that he was able to resolve this issue, and now it just requires additional funding to put new batteries in series production.Theoretically, the new development could completely replace the life familiar to us lithium-ion batteries, as will be more practical and cheaper.
