"Mosquito" checked in noisy environments

Peter the Great Bay near Vladivostok held exercises missile boats of the Pacific Fleet with a real anti-ship missile launch "Mosquito", the press service of the Eastern Military District on Monday, April 28. Start carried out in difficult conditions - at maximum range and in terms of electronic countermeasures. The exercise had involved 15 ships of the Pacific Fleet and naval aviation.

 

 Shooting took place in the framework of the Pacific Fleet exercises April 24, 2014. Start anti-ship missile 3M-80 "Mosquito" fulfilled one of the missile boats crews of surface ships of the Pacific Fleet, commanded by Captain 1st Rank Mikhail Bilichenko. The combat capability of the missile controlled industry representatives - on board the boat were employees Arsenyev Aviation Company "Progress".

After the missile launches, a number of other exercises - for electronic warfare, damage control, anti-sabotage defense and maneuvering.
